Alwil Software originally the famous free antivirus avast! Offers its new product: avast! Internet Security. This is a suite of tools integrating both antivirus, anti-spam and firewall. For its antivirus, avast! Internet Security has 8 officers to scan files, emails, web, P2P, instant messaging, network, script executions and suspicious actions. The antivirus module is less demanding on hardware resources with its new detection engine, more efficient means of heuristics developed further. In this version, a unique feature is introduced: the revitalization process. This allows the user to perform a process so that it is isolated from the rest of the system. We note in passing that the system update has been improved to reduce the resources required and a system for detecting application launch in full screen mode, such as games or video playback, disable visual notifications and sound. Side of the firewall, three profiles are proposed, Home, Office and Airport-each determining how the computer can connect to the Internet.
