how can I get eng. subs?
tapaleat, you only have to wait patiently, like the rest of us, for some mercy of the ones who are able to prepare them;)
are u joking?;/ already episode 10 but still no subs for 9??;/ I don't have that much patience xD (headbang)
it is not a voice of a patient person...rather downhearted and resigned...
I can't believe that there is not person in the whole world who can speak Danish and would do the subtitles for the last 2 episodes :((( If I would have seen it coming I hadn't watched season 3 at all until 15 December , when it will finish on BBC and hardcoded subtitles will be available :((((
Well, the world doesn´t revolve around English as an only language you know. I think we should all just be grateful someone puts the torrents up, I know I am. All those people who don´t speak English are missing out on a lot of good shows too. This is something for all those scandinavian people who can understand Danish. If I knew how to put subs up for you I´d do it. Sorry, I dont´t. But cmplaining doesn´t help, it´s actually rather rude. Thanks for your work frakris. :)
I'm not complaining, I'm worrying. You apparently could watch all the episodes so you have no idea in what situation people like me are. When you are watching from week to week and are waiting eagerly for the next episodes and when it gets the most exciting, you are not able to watch. Sorry, but this is quite annoying.
MissKnoxie, you apparently missed the point. Everybody coming here for English subs, really really really appreciate the hard work of the translators and people adding torrents here.

But... checking this site several times a day, and being unable to watch the last 2 episodes of this season can be really frustrating.

It's not about rudeness, really. You should see the comments written by George R. R. Martin's fans;)
If I might add another perspective on the discussion about the desire for subtitles, I think that levelling criticism at the English speaking people who are seeking and requesting subtitles is a bit narrow minded because they are the people who, despite being unable to speak the native language of the programme, are actually bothering to engage in the media of another culture. They aren't like the majority of a certain nation who would never dream of watching anything with subtitles and sit on their fat arses until Hollywood remakes everything for them in English.
Flamesong, do you really want to deny the role of English in communication? I'm not Danish, but I'm also not English (I regret, but no). I don't see a point of knowing all the languages of the world just because of some pieces I would like to know/read/see.
And that's why - yes, I'm sitting on my fat ass waiting for English subs so I could derive advantages from another great culture.
Sorry to insult you, the one so much better then me...
I understand Danish but my wife doesn't. We have been waiting anxiously for the English subtitles, but this evening I gave in to my desperate need to watch the last two episodes :-)

What I really don't understand is that Danish television does not provide English subtitles for their programs. Not all citizens of Denmark speak Danish and for those trying to learn it, it would be a great help :-)
@ lewek2001

I can only imagine that you have wilfully misunderstood what I said because your response blathers on as if you did not even read my post.

Sorry to draw attention to your inability to read. But you seem to be a moron and although that isn't your fault you ought not publicly to post idiotic shite exposing your lack of reasoning power.
OMG flamesong, calm down! I think lewek2001 accidentally mistook you with MissKnoxie.

So, I've given up looking several times a day for subtitles, I guess we have to wait until the series finishes on BBC in two weeks and then we will have the subtitles at last. :(((((
OMG!!!!!!!!!

folli - take some fucking valium!

What is your problem?

I was merely trying to say that people who like to watch foreign language films and television programmes with subtitles should not be attacked for wishing somebody would be kind enough to translate them for us and create a subtitle file when one is needed.

You think I wouldn't love to be fluent in Danish and every other language of the films I enjoy? I'm no polyglot but I do speak a bit of German, French (and even a tiny amount of Bahasa Indonesia) but understanding the subtlety of a plot requires more than a mere traveller's knowledge of a language.

There are people out there for whom subtitles - even when hardcoded - are a barrier to watching a film. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that American culture does not even want to embrace films in English unless the accents are American, given the number of remakes of British films for the US market.

And lewek2001's comment was directed at me, not MissKnoxie, as is clear if you read it.
flamesong, yes my comment was for you.
I admit that being frustrated and annoyed by all this waiting, I haven't quite accurately read your comment.
I obviously did not understand it and I was even going to apologise, as I simply agree with your opinions, however I don't think I've deserved your boorish and rude reply. And your comment to Folli, who apparently just wanted to calm down this discussion? Was it nice? Sophisticated? Open-minded?
My poor understanding of English can easily explain my misunderstanding of your intention at first, but please take a look at your offensive and aggressive attitude before you'll attack me or anyone else. And let's just stop this silly dispute, ok?
Plz plz plz someone translate this to English. It's easy and it will only take 2 hrs of yr time!! I promise to contribute by translating to another language! PLZ PLZ PLZ.
BTW, it is not helping me, but there are Dutch subtitles at www.addic7ed.com on behalf of who can understand it.
@lewek2001

If you have a poor comprehension of English, it's probably not a good idea to launch an ill-informed assault at somebody whose comment about a preference for subtitles in English over a slobbish appetite for English language (American) remakes you haven't understood with an insult (according to your own comment).

My 'offensive and aggressive' attitude was, in fact, a deliberate and mocking escalation of the 'OMG flamesong, calm down!' comment by folli who's seizure and blancmange afterbirth was a complete over-reaction to a perfectly valid opinion. I make no apology for it. I'm having fun. If you find me offensive and aggressive, please march me down to your local Gestapo office forthwith.
English is also on the way!! at least according to addic7ed.
flamesong you must be on drugs. I have no other explanation for your comments :DDDDDDDDDD
you are arguing with me and lewek, although we all represent the same opinion. funny! :DDDDDDDD
flamesong, at least I've apologised while you continue your trolling. Have you ever heard about Godwin's law? By your last comment you simply showed how pointless is any discussion with people of your sort...
@ lewek2001 + @ folli

You heard of Esollived's Law? That some sad person is always lurking waiting to invoke Godwin's Law.

What a load of crap, though, eh? Somebody will eventually accuse somebody else of being on drugs, being a troll or being a conspiracy theorist.

And people of my sort? You have not a clue what sort of person I am. You think because you have a little gang, you have the right to determine what sort people are? I'm not the one getting all sweaty - I'm simply looking for subtitles and happen to encounter a couple of people who took a perfectly reasonable comment out of all proportion (check the history) and then took the bait when I got sarcastic.
@flamesong I think we have a pretty good idea of what kind of person you are. As an American who "[bothers] to engage in the media of another culture," please stop with the pointless nationalist bullshit. Can't we all just agree that Forbrydelsen is fantastic and talk instead about all the other fantastic Scandinavian programming (Borgen, The Bridge, Lillyhammer, Wallander, ...) that this site allows us to experience while we wait patiently for the people who are doing all the work here -- frakis for this upload, Icehunter, samtasm et al. for the fantastic subtitles and everyone else involved in uploading this so that we can have the privilege to sit our collective arses in front of this wonderful show no matter how far from Denmark we may be.

@killword Re: Your nationality; two words: cognitive dissonance.

@killword Re: your presumption to know what kind of person I am; three words: go fuck yourself.
@flamesong No presumptions necessary; my opinion of you is based entirely on the drivel you've been spouting.
subtitles for ep 9 have a little bit of a delay compared to the conversations but its okay... at least we have the subs :)
Where to get episodes 9 and 10, preferably 720p?
I meant 720p EPISODES, not subtitles :)
Nevermind, already found.
If anybody else is interested, here are 720p versions of ep. 9 & 10:
