Emily Brontës klassiska drama om den omöjliga kärleken har trollbundit läsare i över 150 år och har fått nytt liv i Oscarbelönade Andrea Arnolds händer. Ett andlöst vackert kärleksdrama som inte liknar någonting annat.

Movie: Not as good at the 1992 version with Voldemort and Juliet Binoche. Mostly quiet and depressive. Kaya Scodelario is a thousand times better representation of Cathy though.
Also Heathcliff WAS NOT black. He was a dark skinned gipsy that contrasted with the fair skinned English people. He is referred to "not being like normal blacks", and being somewhat of a mixture of "indian" and "chinese" in the book. He speaks a foreign language when he first comes to the heights.
He supposedly got rich (and therefore bought education) through slave trade in the 3 years he was gone, and it doesn't even make sense that a black person would be a slaver. It was impossible for a 16 years old to join the army, fight in the new world, rise up the ranks, be rich and get education in 3 years at that time.
