NOTE: If you haven't already, go back to the DROID RAZR Utility thread and install the drivers from the links at the top (32 bit or 64 bit depending on what type of Windows machine you are running)
Also, if you don't already have it, get 7-Zip @ http://www.7-zip.org/

AP Fastboot mode: Turn off the phone. Turn it on by holding both volume buttons AND the power button. Scroll down the list with the volume down key and select with the volume up key. Move down to and select "AP Fastboot."

Step 1: Run Option 1 on the DROID RAZR Utility 1.51 to restore your DROID RAZR to 6.12.173 stock.

Step 2: Run Option 2 (after setting up USB Debugging enabled) to root your DROID RAZR.

Step 3: Run the option to Install OTA Rootkeeper

Step 4: Run the option to Install Cheesecake

Step 5: Open up Cheesecake. Select the first of the three boxes, hit Allow when Superuser asks for permissions.

Step 6: Reboot.

Step 7: Open up Cheesecake. Select the second of the three boxes. Choose Staging, then Staging 100 as your server.

Step 8: Hit the third of the three boxes. You may/will see a popup that asks for a Motorola account. Just hit yes and check the first box in the next window, no need to give Moto your information by checking the second box.

Start downloading the ICS update that pops up (over 400 MB)

Step 9: Open Voodoo's OTA Rootkeeper. Hit "Protect Root" then hit "Temp. Unroot"

Step 10: Install the update download when it finishes (it will prompt you to do so. If you ignored it go to Settings>About Phone>System Update to get the prompt again). Open up OTA Rootkeeper when its done and hit "Restore root"
