not that im complaining, as i really appreciate seeing this torrent....but what good is an uncracked version of this? will i be able to use this, or do i have to figure out how to hack or crack this on my own? i'm not a computer wiz by any means, so please educate me! thanks!

I purchased this soft, but:

- for some reasons i wanted to download it, but couldn't find it, even on the AVID site, with account, serial etc....

- for some reason i do not want to use the ilok usb key as it is too big sheet

So i though it would be nice to share it around, and perhaps you could find it cracked some day ;)

i know, people have been saying that PT9 asks for the hardware serial number or something on the mbox, so i thought i could do that but its asking me for the iLok. when i bought PT8 LE they just gave me a serial, i was hoping this would be the same and i could find a serial somewhere but no luck..

yes, Team AiR we need you!! or someone! even just a loader like the cracked mac version of PT9 has..

i know, its so frustrating waiting! haha do you think in 2 weeks? i was thinking maybe its going to take months.. i mean it PT9 got released last year in november.. and the 'non' cracked version just got released onto this.. so im thinking the actual cracked version is going to take a while. but im not too sure, it could show up anytime. ive been checking daily!!

but i just got a old mac desktop for the studio.. and i know theres a cracked version for mac so i might give that a go seeing as i dont need windows anymore :) will be handy to have though. and i will still check daily!

Team Air Did an amazing job the pace/Ilok with the waves complete plugins- hopefully they or other programmers with do the same with Pro Tools 9 now that it the software is available for them to reverse.

No, you need iLok to use this.. i was going to do the same, but this doesnt take the serial @ first, you need the iLok key thing to even launch the program.

Still checking for a crack, still nothing... The Mac version was cracked immediately. What's the hold-up? Is it a tough nut to crack or is AiR gone?

yeah i know, i dont understand, i thought that however the mac one got cracked, they could do the same for windows but obviously make everything windows format.. i mean iLok use the same principles for mac and windows, so we shoulld be able to use the same crack but in a windows supported format shouldnt we? :l im starting to think AiR is gone, this product came out last year in november!

Waves got cracked...PT 9 for MAC got cracked....means it isnt impossible to crack an ilok but i guess there is something more than just cracking a software....there might be some controversial issues since PT 9 is the best n the most expensive DAW out there....but lets just hope tht it gets cracked...in the mean tym im going sonar for a change....

It's not just about being possible it's also about if there is a will to do it. This has been out for quite a while now and there appears to be no real impetus. It's cracked on the mac and those fanbois have no interest in a windows crack.

It's a shame really, as with other great packages of the past. As folk stop cracking them or they become too hard to, they lose their learner userbase of future paying customers. Without them feeding in from the bottom the software dies!

Saoman Uploaded it so that the program would be available for some to crack or at least have the program when a crack is available. I'm still waiting for some to come with Waves Complete 8 for PC too.

i don't think there is gonna be a crack for PT9. When PT8 was released- there was a crack for mac and not for pc

u can crack da ilok for pc bt ts nt worth it ! cpu archtctureo f mac n pc is diffrent. if we try to crack it on a pc da cpu myt gt damgd in da procss. gtta thnk of an easier way

CPU architecture is not different between pc and mac! They have been the same for a number of years now. It would also be fairly tricky to cause damage to a CPU with a poor crack never mind deliberately!

its not the cpu that is an issue it make changes to whats called efi (if i remember correctly) it acts like the bios or cmos on macs this gets loaded before you system bootloader, if this is added to a pc system you wont get to you windows loader or grub2 loader if ur on linux. this will do nothing to you cpu but you will have to reforrmat your HD.

just buy an Mbox it comes with Protools Le but if you have full versions of your other software you should be able to perform thoese locked functions there. you never want to be lockid into one audio editing suite

i had a 003 rack that broke, and later an mbox and never had an ilok usb key i think its imbedded in in those devices but i still had to do a bunch of bullshit to get protools and logic to work correctly again. ur best bet is to go to guitar center and copy down the serial number to a newer midi interface thats bundled with ver.9 and get on the phone and update your iloc account :)

Its funny! Do you People not read comments before you ask the Same Questions. This will not work unless you have a valid ilok with Protools 9 registration. Anything PT8 is not gonna work with PT9- so an ilok with PT8 is not help run PT9. This Torrent is for people to have so when there is a crack available - you will have the software. Since the full program is available now- hopefully in the near future before PT10 comes out- this will be cracked or patched for us to use! Wishing Thinking!
