Copy the vo folder from modules to packages vo

I am sure this is how the game got installed, but apparently they have to be in one folder.

HERE IS THE FIX FOR INFINITE LOADING AND SAVE GLITCH

Works on Windows 7 and multi core CPU and yet I experienced these if you check task manager > performance and you see only had one CPU there. So something weird was going on.

open start > run > msconfig and went to boot > advanced options and deselect the checkbox for 'number of processors'.
Then reboot. Now I have 4 CPU's in my task manager.
Just tested the game and now it works fine, even with autosave on, music enabled and Directx 11.

Do I have to copy or move the folder and do I have to make "packages vo" folder or do I have to copy it to "/packages/vo" folder.

Another issue is that I can't create my character, I can only choose from presets like in the Demo, is there a fix?

ok voices work thanks for the fix, as fast as playing your old character no there is no way to do that, you can upload your old character just to affect story , by your choices from previous game, but you have to play as hawke,

OK, fixed the voices and dialogs. Copy the "vo" folder from "Modules" folder to "\packages\core\audio\vo". Overwrite the resident "vo" folder with the copied "vo" folder. You can move the folder, too.

HQ RIP if you exempt this little inconvenience, first two presets are locked, but other presets can be customized, I guess this is meant to be this way.

Just be more descriptive with the fixes next time Shroo, thnx for the RIP!

you say you ripped nothing out, the game file after full install of your copy is 5.18gb

while the retail ISO is 6.59gb to 7.01gb, so is this a digital copy or ?
something had to be ripped!

from my understanding though you also need a DLC decrypter for DA2 to get the DLC to work with any version of ripped game.

Nope you do not need the DLC decrypter:
the file you listed works perfect with this version of DA2 TPTB.
ive tested it out and confirmed it works with this release, downloaded your mentioned file from TeamTPTB directly and even comes with modded xml files after setup to replace in addin folders for dlc

I have tried the audio fix, but it did not work. I took the "vo" file from the modules folder and pasted it over the "vo" file in the Dragon Age 2\packages\core\audio. Yet the characters mouths still do not move and there is no voice. Any suggestions?

Just wanted to say thanks. I finished the game with this version.

I am sure it works as well as the retail version. There was no lag on voice as someone else reported (once you copy the VO files).

Kudos for the small download as I have marginal internet with low caps.

To all who have problems with installing-do this(Windows 7):

Press SETUP and with this, one thing with music will pop up.
Start Task Manager with CTRL-ALT-DELETE and remove that thing. After this installation is available(you need to press any button on that instalation).

I got everything working fine however the game doesn't activate fullscreen properly. It stays with a windows box all round it and constantly flickers on and off when in-game sometimes. which makes it really hard to click anything because it de-activates the mouse when it flickers. any fix for this?

what a total waste of time and bandwidth!! this game sucks!! the gameplay sucks and the graphics engine is very poor. i can play crysis at maximum graphics at full hd resolution, and i struggle to get this game at 30 fps at maximum graphics in full hd (not to mention that the graphics are way below the level of that of crysis'). so folks, if u know how to play dragon age 1 or origins and are comfortable with the gameplay, this game is still good. for those who just want to try out the game, please don't. this game practically sucks. although this was a good download and i could achieve 600 kBps and i will seed at 1 mBps now for atmost 1 week. so make the best out of it.

GOT IT!!!
for any1 having same prob as mine...
Run regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bioware\Dragon Age 2
double click on path
If value is %d, change it to your real directory
eg. C:\Program Files\Dragon Age 2
or wherever you installed.
Now go to where you installed and right click on DragonAge2Launcher.exe and run as admin.
Quit back to desktop and all DLC's should be working fine....

it runs on high (no directX 11 patch) and give high FPS on my old rig (P4 3.2 2gigs ram and nvid 9600)
i think movies are downsized or were made low quality by bioware anyways the game rox !!
