Disable antivirus, copy tptb.exe from the archive to the root folder and run setup.bat again
Finally finished downloading, and ran setup.bat and instructed, but once it was done I just had 15 GB's worth of files and no way to run the game....so how do you start the game?
On the installing part im stuck on 99% is that normal?

Hey Shroo, I don't know what the problem is, but when I run the setup.bat (it works fine for 45 minutes or so), it goes into the command prompt, a bunch of lines of text that mean absolutely nothing to me, then it says that "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the creators of this application for support." Something along those lines. Then it crashes, and I get nothing, except wasted time. How do I fix this?
I'm a complete newbie at this stuff, so the less technical you get, the better.

metalberka the rips are compressed files thats why they are smaller. So when you are installing the files they are de-compressing which will take awhile depending on your PC's processor/memory. Be patient and let it take its time.

Thx for the rip shroo - Think there may be a bug with the install though. Installed 3 times on different PC'S. In the main\sound\music dir only emt_mx_airport_dining.wav is a wav sound - all other files are still .mp3. Do these need to be manually converted to .wav? Thx.

seemes that you have not extracted the game properly, update your winrar or use 7z to extract the game, do the hash check in u torrent to see if there is no broken parts. these simptoms mean that some files have not extracted properly, you could also try disabling your antivirus, because some extraction, conversion tools sometimes do get recognised as viruses (false postive).

No hashes, and it was re-extracted by 7zip. And my NOD32 Anti virus never showed anything, if my anti virus thought anything was a virus, it'd tell me first.

This version, does not have Multiplayer read description, but it works perfectly fine without mp. read description, the only reason you get these errors because of the extraction problem.

Btw, if i go to use the uninstaller in the extraction folder it indicates the game can only be uninstalled on 64bit windows....don't know if that carries any relevance..
Shroo - thx for your advice - hash check is fine - extraction is without error. I have also individually opened and checked each frearc file and the way the rip is scripted works and extracts ok. Just that it seems strange that in the \main\sound\music dir only one file (emt_mx_airport_dining.wav) is in wav format - maybe that's the way the game is or for some reason you packed it differently.. This is the only music wav file in the wav.tptb arc file all other music wavs are in the mp3.tptb arc file.

Yeah I am dl it now. I have installed this version 5 times now and each time i get a different error (I unpacked 5 times also) The most recent one is the MWF2 console stating:

I would just keep unzipping it and installing it. It eventually worked for me (7th try). I am finished with single player. Hope the multiplayer is working soon. I tired using other MP cracks with no success but allot report MP is working. Not sure what version they have..

i just installed this and when i go to new game, the characters have no voice. i see their mouth moving but nothing comes out and no subtitles show. every other sound works except voice. help please!

hey guys ive been using TPB for a while now and am somewhat samiliar with how to use the games and play em on my pc. With this one though I have a strange Problem. After I unzip the file and install it, I am able to play it for a long time and it works fine. Then when I want to play it again for a second time, After starting it, an error pops up saying the "Couldnt load image_bolo_knife". I dont know why this is happening. ive deleted and installed the game 3 times already(same problem happens). PLEASE HELP ME.

Just finished playing the game. Awesome game, for me better then COD4 in every way.
This game works fine on Windows 7 x64 from start to finish, no bugs.
Great work guys, you have out done yourself with this one, P.S people complaining about how slow it is to download just give it a rest, no one cares, it will download when it downloads, it would take twice as long to get if it wasn't ripped so you should be thanking TPTB not having ago at them. If you want to game that badly and can't wait a few days go buy it.

i too have the same problem of missing voice. i have unzipped and installed it four times already. i use 7-zip, and during the unpacking, i had shut down all my antivirus and firewalls completely. so any external interference is ruled out. i can't seem to solve this problem any way. please help me. you seem to be technically very sound, considering the kind of compression you achieved. i just need your help. please reply asap.

btw, the performance on my pc is really bad. i have played even crysis comfortably at high settings but in this one, it seems to freeze for 3-4 secs everytime i turn or move. my pc is as under:
core 2 quad q6600
nvidia 8800gt (112 shaders, 512 MB GDR3 with 256-bit interface)
2 GB corsair xms2 ram at 800 MHz
WD 250 GB, 32 MB buffer, 7200 rpm HDD
the settings i used are very normal too... resolution around 1300 by 700, 2x AA and all details to "extra".
ideas, anyone??

Try to overclock a little your gpu(nothing serious).
Just download nvidia ntune. It s an offical overclocking tool from nvidia.

I'm only using 8600GT Sonic, 1.5G ram, 3.0G dualcore but able to play smooth on normal settings, 2x AA, 1440 x 900 reso. No lags, no hangs. Try to empty ur temp folders or maybe you have virus on ur pc.

Google it, even Winrar will do the job for extracting, that's what I used. After which, run the batch file then wait for about an hour. Check your desktop for game launcher after. Enjoy!
