The only problem i had were extremly long load times, around 3-5 minutes long... other than that the game runs smoothly.

a salute to tptb for giving us such awesome games.. now i have downloaded your red faction guerrilla but im not able to extract it properly
the setup.bat file ran smoothly but on doing some research i found out that the .tptb files were note being extracted.. i got the following message on cmd prompt when i tried to manually extact it using tptb.dll:
"ERROR: can't allocate memory required for (de)compression in rep:500mb"
i think its not being ablt to extract any .tptb file with more than 500mb size becuz all it could extract was data2.tptb which was 356mb in size .. could you help me out? how do i extract the files which are more than 500mb in size? i have no idea how to use freearc

also after researching i found out that this is problem in wind xp sp2 but i have sp3 installed
ok i solved this problem by manually extracting each n every .tptb file using freearc 0.60 into the corresponding folders but now when i start the game a blank screen appears n nothing happens.. help me out plz?

I got the same problem as CarlosEspinosa, im WAY over the recommended specs but the game takes FOREVER to load, usually takes min almost 15 minuts and i have and intel core i7 and 3.8 ghz, is there a fix for this?
hmm this comment is directed at laser988's problem, and also for anyone who have problems with any type of problems related to missing d3dx10_dll or any other types of similar .dll files. all u have to do is to come to this website http://www.dll-files.com/ and type in the search box the EXACT name of the file u are missing and download it into ur game folder. make sure the name is exact as there are multiple .dll files that are somewhat similar in name
