Hi shroo,

In one way or another your rips/releases WON'T work on my system.

This release had missing tekst in the game, so i coulnd read the menu and ingame tekst/subtitles.
The RAZOR version works perfect !!!

With the 9th company rip i get a crash error when i try to launch the executible.

I'm not a n00b and know how these things work, but i find it strange i cant get your rips to work.

Also i don't see other complaints aboput your rips that won't work, so i really don't know what the problem could be.

Still great work rippin, keep it up !!!

I start the game and I see weird characters in the menu. I havent seen such thing before.
I have Nvidia geforce 8600 GTS video card with the latest 186.18 driver. Directx is also updated.

The only explanation is that the game folder should be around 3.23 GB after install. Mine stays around 2.90 GB (dunno why) and that should be the cause of the messed up texts. Its got to be some extraction problem. Strange because this isnt happened before with any ripped game. Tried it 4 times but it just dont wanna work.

Have a problem right at the start of the game... when asked to defend the flank the other guys don't come with you. The guy already there just keeps spouting one liners whilst nothing happens... no enemy soldiers attack

to sd fasdad. to get the soldiers to follow you in the first level and have the guys actually attack so you can advance in the game you have to change your regional and language settings to English. It took me forever to find that information. worked perfectly though.

I have this version and it workes fine.
Poster of this torrent isn't responding anymore, only thing i know is that his rips arent working on several systems, his 9th company rip isnt working on my system also.

Better download the razor1911 version !!!

Hello shroo download was good. The extraction and installation seemed to work fine but when i start the game up. the videos play for a while then the screen just stays dark with no buttons or anything i can see and i cant minimise or Alt+F4 out of it so i have to restart my computer. the game work it! if you launch setup.bat and it says can not recognize TPTB.exe, retry the extraction with 7zip.

TO ALL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH LETTERS IN-GAME:
open "regedit" (start -> run... -> regedit) and search (edit -> find...) for "techland" registry folder and delete it. This should do the trick. If not search for "juarez" and delete some more registry entities

I was getting the crashing to the desktop everytime I played. I was quite a ways into the game. I uninstalled my Nvidia driver and installed the new 195.62 driver. After that no more crashes. I was also having audio issues running under 5.1 stereo. Had to set to stereo to hear any voices. I reinstalled my soundblaster driver and now its ok. Now I updated to 1.1 and was playing fine yesterday. Last night I went to play and it started to a black screen and freezes. I check task manager and get "not responding" what a mess.

Ok I got it running again. I had forgot to uncheck my dual screen option in my Nividia control panel last night so when I started the game it was going over to my LCD TV screen which was off. After I unchecked that option and set just for my PC LCD the game started right up. This was after I patched to 1.1 also.

to all guys having problem of scrambled text in main menu.here is what you must do.
1)delete everything and re extract
2)run setup.bat
3)play from destop

Reason for not working:
The size of the folder after running setup.bat must be 3.2 gb.If it is less than that you will get the scrambled text.in case the size of the folder in less than 3.2 gb follow the steps i told you

Gr8 DL... I was getting kinda frustraded though, because i got the same error with the text and menus. So after extracting (Diferent tools) and deleting for many times (also changing my language and regional) I'd decided to download the freearc program to see if it was an actual decompresing error, extracted the downloaded folder with it and then ran the setup.bat, click on the icon created on desktop and voilà!.. Ingame without errors.

Note: I post this so others like me now and in the future know atleast another posible fix. I can't stand when people find a solution and stay shut about it. Btw i didn't need to change my language to play normal. Sorry for my english!
