This is a bootable ISO of Windows 7 RC.
It has been patched to allow upgrade from Windows 7 Beta.

Microsoft blocked upgrades from Windows 7 Beta to Windows 7 RC. With this ISO, you can upgrade without doing a clean reinstall.

Comments

Just for your impatient and annoying comment, I'm NOT going to start seeding from a second location with more bandwidth.

I downloaded this x64 ISO, patched it, made a torrent, and started seeding it from one limited bandwidth location because I don't think it's available anywhere else and one person seemed to want it. I don't even use x64 and it's a waste of my time to download it and make it available to anyone else.

Now you come and tell me that it's not fast enough for you... well fuck you. Your options are limited so just deal with it. I'm not your servant and I get _nothing_ out of making this available to people.
Well it was myself who asked for the x64-bit and i'm very greatful for all your efforts in supplying this torrent.

I'm not remotely fussed about how long it takes to download, and I will seed myself as much as I can... but with only a 1mb connection my upload speed won't help others that much.

Thank you again and i'm sorry for the comments you have received from other users!
I am an X64 user too, and I agree with Wombat45....your time and efforts are appreciated, my thanks to you. It will be seeding from my torrent client....
I kicked the speed up eventually, when I could. I'm still seeding, albeit with limited bandwidth again. Now that I'm no longer the only seed, nobody should have any complaints anymore. Did anybody use this to do the Beta -> RC upgrade? Did it work?
I used this to upgrade my Windows 7 Beta to the RC. Upgrading did work, although it made me reboot before it would start... and it took a good bit of time longer than a clean install.

Now that I'm done things work, although it seems that things are glitchier than they were before in the Beta. My guess is that there's a reason that MS doesn't want you to "upgrade" from the Beta.

To answer ollopa's question though, yes, this does work!
