This is the only crack that has ever worked for me on Vista x64 Ultimate, Awesome guys, thanks good work. Was going to buy it, but who the hell uses DVD drives anymore, Don't have enough SATA Channels to connect a stupid DVD drive.

Size means nothing. This is changed from the original RELOADED crack. I haven't checked the overheating issue, however saves and the galaxy map do work.

Yes this did fix the overheating bug. Now I dont have to worry about my gun being perma overheated :-P TY for the fix.
This game still needs a good crack to fix still many issues but all in all this is the best one ive used so far. Thanks again.

No this is NOT an official scene release it appears in no pre channels or on any sort of site like that. It is however the real deal, because if you look at http://www.rlslog.net/mass-effect-detonation/comment-page-32/#comment-356977 Gniarf's last post that rapidshare link, has the same MD5/SHA-1/SHA512 as the MassEffect.exe in this torrent.

ViTALiTY release is out! Too bad there is no "crack only" release, so we'll have to wait for that.
my analogies to the creators of this crack. It seems my video card drivers were the culprit of my errors instead. The crack however, works fine.

Alright folks, This is cracks really working, I tested it myself. I never used the console before this crack and have no need to either with this finally working crack. Thanks PROPER and xConflictx for uploading.

2. Save is working again (quick save, normal save)

Nope. Overheating problem remains.
Checked 3 times. During the last fight with Saren weapons overheat instantly. And... finita la comedia. You cant kill the boss, since your weapons do not work.
This fix worked fantastic with a "fresh" (not previously installed) installation on VISTA. No map issues, no save issues and no overheating issues.
The ONLY hairball I encountered is that on Vista is needs to be "Run as Administrator," otherwise it gives you a General Protection Fault.

Now I noticed that run as administrator thing (could have been mentioned in the .nfo btw.). Well, I ran it as an Admin, and now I don't get that "Genereal Protection Error" - however I get nothing ELSE either! Only black screen, at first it seems to load something, but then it just stays there, black screen and nothing happens.

This one works just fine, fixes the VTY overheating bug. :) All claims that it reduces performance etc. etc. etc. (like those made by VTY against RLD several times) are false, this crack actually gives me a 5% higher average framerate (than the VTY crack), believe it or not.
Didn't need to start a new game from the VTY crack either, just continued on my existing save and everything's been running smooth since. (I've not used the console however, as I see no reason to do so.)

Fixed the over heating problem for me, untill I reached a new planet. The overheating problem is back.

I've applied the crack to the "REloaded" release and works like a charm.
I have completed the game, and I had NO problems with saving, overheating and galaxy map. And no crashes. As the readme says, you have to use a profile in which you DIDN'T use the Galaxy Map before.

Just to be clear, this patch seems to fix the universe map interface AND the overheating gun problem - which btw is an official Bioware bug that they havent addressed! Maybe someone should post on their support forums and link to this file! NB:Anyone experiencing the jet black sections of map where there should be red lava should go to the REPAIR option in the CONFIG MENU and delete cache files. Many thanks!

Does anyone else get the issue about being unable to save the game. Every time i attempt to save, I get a message ( a problem has occurred while saving. no game session date was preserved. please try again.) Can anyone help with this? It seem the game isn't creating a file to save my game progress. Help Plz!

I've been having a problem with the configuration utility crashing when i try to start the game, anyone know why this would happen?
Just wanted to say thanx, and that it works like a dream. I nearly cried when i couldn't enter the galaxy map, but now it's working fine. being able to save again is also a huge bonus.

I'm getting the same general protection error as a lot of other people. Also, I tried to 'Run as administrator' (I knew this trick already, have to use it for a couple other games thanks to Vista's incompetence), but I'm afraid that didn't help at all. So while it works for others, it doesn't work for Vista, apparently, no matter what you try. So, final solution? Going to have to wait until I have money this summer to buy the game instead.

ok so i have gone to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Mass Effect folder, and all there is is "MassEffectLauncher.exe", which, when run, tries to make me re enter the code, and it doest accept the keygen code, so i copy over this crack and remove the launcher, then when i run the crack it gives me "binkw32.dll" could not be found, i download binkw32.dll to the system folder, then it says it could not find the access point or something. I think i may have put the crack in the wrong place, please help
