Mathematica 11.1.1  64 bit for Linux

Latest version which fixed errors in 11.x



tested on Linux mint 18.1 (Ubuntu 16.04)

With keygen. Can run in Wine, but probably better to run in windows by opening command prompt


Install Mathematica_11.1.1 like this:


Open shell and enter

./Mathematica_11.1.1_LINUX.sh


It may be better to install in your home directory as there's often problems with permission when installing in /usr/local/


I installed in /home/username/mathematica/


Important: no spaces in directories, not: /mathematica 11/ 

but: /mathematica11/



You will be asked to install scipts also. Just put them in the same folder

Activation: I did it in Windows command prompt

if you have problems with copy paste enter by keyboard


 start the Mathematica program (search menu in Linux)

2. Click "Other ways to activate"

3. Click "Manual Activation"

4. Copy the MathID shows in the dialog

5. Open windows command prompt,run Mathematica_11.1.0_Keygen.exe
   paste the MathID(If you directly click the Mathematica_11.1.0_Keygen.exe,
   you can't use paste,and you can't see the Activation Key and Password)

6. Copy generated Activation Key and Password and paste those to activation dialog
   (The Activation Key is always 1234-4321-123456)
